The Golden State Warriors are among three teams that have checked in with the Brooklyn Nets about Michael Porter Jr., according to Evan Sidery of Forbes.
The Milwaukee Bucks and Detroit Pistons are the other interested teams, per the same report.
Sidery adds that Brooklyn is open to listening to trade discussions involving Porter Jr., with a focus on acquiring prospects and draft capital.
The 27-year-old wing is enjoying a career-best season with the Nets.
Through 24 games, Porter is averaging 25.7 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game while shooting 49.1 percent from the field and 40.1 percent from three-point range.
Brooklyn acquired Porter last summer from the Denver Nuggets in a deal that also included an unprotected 2032 first-round pick in exchange for Cam Johnson.
According to Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints, the Warriors have been one of the more active teams since early December. GSW has held talks with the Nets, Pelicans, and Bulls as they explore forward and big man upgrades.
