Also, it was Giannis' first postgame media availability since Nov. 29, giving reporters a chance to ask him about ongoing trade rumors.
He had skipped a media session in Washington D.C. on Dec. 1 and was sidelined due to injury on Dec. 3.
On Dec. 18, Antetokounmpo gave an update on his calf strain and addressed reports suggesting he and his representatives had spoken with the Bucks about his immediate and long-term future.
On Saturday, when asked about rumors that he might not want to stay in Milwaukee, Giannis didn't hold back.
"I'm here," Antetokounmpo said in Chicago. "I'm here. Don't ask me that question. It's disrespectful toward myself and my teammates. I wear that jersey every single day.
"Disrespectful towards the organization, my coaching staff, myself, and all the people that work hard for me to come out here and say, 'I don't want to be here.' Don't ask me that question. I'm here," Giannis went on to say.
"I'm putting on the jersey. And as long as I'm here, I'm going to give everything I have, even if in the last second of the game."
Giannis finished the night with 29 points and eight rebounds in his victorious return. The Bucks currently sit at 13-19 on the season.
