Chelsea are among five Premier League clubs to have checked on James McAtee’s situation at Nottingham Forest, per the [Daily Mail](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-15416421/Chelsea-Premier-League-club-monitoring-Nottingham-Forest-James-McAtee.html).
The 23-year-old is an academy product of Manchester City, but left to join Forest last summer for a £30 million fee.
The move has not gone to plan, with the young English footballer struggling for regular game time in West Bridgford.
Manager Sean Dyche is an admirer of McAtee and believes he has a bright future at the club.
But the fact remains he has featured only six times in the Premier League this season, with five coming off the bench.
His situation at Forest has alerted many Premier League clubs, including Chelsea, Leeds United, Bournemouth, Fulham and Sunderland.
Chelsea are well stocked in attack but they are constantly exploring opportunities in the market.
Manager Enzo Maresca is also said to highly rate the England Under-21 international, having worked with him at Manchester City.
Leeds are in the market for an attacking midfielder and believe McAtee is an ideal option for them.

The Cherries are already preparing for Semenyo’s exit as they look to bring McAtee on loan to the Vitality Stadium.
