Anneke Borbe, Kyra Cooney-Cross, Beth Mead and Olivia Smith are all up for our Women's Player of the Month award for December, and you can vote for your pick now!
Having finished November with a 2-1 victory over Real Madrid, we extended our winning run to six matches in all competitions with five wins from five games in December.
Victories over Liverpool and Everton in the Women's Super League took us back into the top three, while our European successes against Twente and OH Leuven saw us progress to the knockout stages of the Champions League.
In our final game of the month, we beat Crystal Palace 2-0 to secure our place in the semi-finals of the Subway Women's League Cup, where we'll face Manchester United at Mangata Developments Stadium.
anneke borbe
Having not made a competitive appearance for us before the start of December, Anneke has featured in all five of our matches in December.
With goalkeepers Daphne van Domselaar and Manu Zinsberger both out with injuries, the German has stepped up between the posts, helping us to five wins and three clean sheets this month.
Anneke made a series of crucial saves in vital victories against Twente and Crystal Palace, helping us to progress in both the Champions League and the League Cup heading into 2026.
kyra cooney-cross
Kyra was a crucial part of our winning run throughout December, starting all five matches in the middle of the park.
The Australian was a dominant force in our midfield, showcasing her versatility playing as a defensive, central or attacking midfielder as and when required.
Our no.32 was particularly impressive in our European matches, helping us to dominate possession and control our matches against Twente and OH Leuven.

beth mead
Beth has excelled in December, featuring in all five games across three competitions and scoring some of our most crucial goals of the month.
Like Kyra, Beth's biggest moments of the month came in European action, as the England winger scored the only goal of our 1-0 win over Twente, before doubling our lead against OH Leuven the following week.
Our no.9 capped a month of brilliant performances by coming off the bench to set up Stina Blackstenius to wrap up our League Cup win over Crystal Palace.
olivia smith
December was Olivia's best month as a Gunner so far, as she scored in both of our Women's Super League games and netted her first Champions League goal.
Not only did Olivia score against both Liverpool and Everton in the WSL, but both goals were nominated for the Barclays Goal of the Month award, as our Canadian produced two memorable strikes from range to earn her a nomination for the league's Player of the Month award as well.
After two excellent performances in league action, our no.15 brought her form into European competition and scored her first Champions League goal to put us ahead against OH Leuven.
