It won’t be a surprise to see City go big to try and sign Elliot Anderson.
Frankly, it is obvious to see why Manchester City have identified Elliot Anderson as a potential transfer target. The Nottingham Forest midfielder is a player who would add quality to City’s midfield. With Bernardo Silva and Mateo Kovacic’s futures at City in doubt, Anderson would fill the void that their potential departures would create. You can see how Anderson would slot in the City engine room and what role he’d play. If Bernardo Silva did leave City for example, you could see Elliot Anderson taking Bernardo Silva’s spot in the City midfield.
To sign Elliot Anderson, Manchester City would have to go big to satisfy Nottingham Forest’s demands in terms of a transfer fee. It won’t be a surprise to see them do so. Elliot Anderson is one of the best midfielders in the Premier League and he is a player who seems ideally suited to a move to the Etihad. Elliot Anderson also looks ready to take the next step in his career and hopefully, City can sign him at some point in the future.
