Liverpool are expected to emerge as a 'serious suitor' in the race to sign Bournemouth forward Antoine Semenyo, in what has been described as a 'dramatic twist' by MailOnline.
GIVEMESPORT sources confirmed earlier this month that Semenyo's preferred move in the January transfer window was to Manchester City, but with the market currently closed, of course, anything can happen. GIVEMESPORT confirmed that Liverpool were one of the sides keen back in November, but they went quiet in the race to secure his signature.
Although Man City will have been pleased to discover that Semenyo wants to make the move to the Etihad Stadium, it was always going to be a nervous wait for the window to open. Semenyo has a £65m release clause in his contract, valid until January 10th, but the Ghanaian forward will ultimately get the final say as to where he ends up.

According to MailOnline, Liverpool are expected to emerge as a 'serious suitor' in the race to sign Bournemouth forward Semenyo as a 'dramatic twist' in the saga emerges. It's claimed that Semenyo would have a 'major decision to make' if Liverpool did ramp up their interest in the Bournemouth star after they had previously shown no inclination to challenge City for the forward.
