Chelsea have had a weekend to forget after they dropped more points in the Premier League.
Enzo Maresca’s team lost 2-1 to Aston Villa on Saturday, surrendering a one-goal lead against their opponents.
Chelsea’s next game is the visit of Bournemouth to Stamford Bridge, and Wesley Fofana will be expected to come in after Benoit Badiashile’s underwhelming outing.
What changes would you like to see Enzo Maresca make for the Bournemouth game? 🤔
Fofana coming in surely has to be one of them!

However, while Badiashile struggled, two of his former teammates have fared much better this weekend.

Christian Pulisic and Christopher Nkunku score in AC Milan’s win against Verona
Christian Pulisic and Christopher Nkunku were both on the scoresheet in AC Milan’s 3-0 victory over Verona.
Pulisic netted just before the conclusion of the first half before Nkunku bagged a brace after the restart.
Milan are flying in Serie A and currently sit first, in contrast to Chelsea, who are really struggling at the moment.
Why aren’t Chelsea killing off games? 👎

Following their defeat to Villa, Maresca’s side have now won just one of their last six Premier League fixtures.
Against the Villans, Chelsea were not clinical enough, while they have lacked forward options this season because of injuries. Nevertheless, there will not be too many people at Stamford Bridge who think Nkunku is the answer.

Chelsea still won’t regret Christopher Nkunku sale
Nkunku’s two goals against Verona were his first of the Serie A campaign, so it has been a disappointing season overall for him so far.
In fact, it has been claimed that Milan are already open to parting ways with Nkunku despite having only signed him in the summer.
At Chelsea, he also had his struggles, but the Blues still managed to get £36m for him. When you consider all of that, there will be little regret in west London about selling the Frenchman.
When the Nkunku deal was agreed, Chelsea fans described it as “amazing”, having no qualms about the 28-year-old leaving their club. Much was expected of Nkunku, but he could not deliver in the end, partly because of injuries.
