Atlanta Hawks big man Kristaps Porzingis reportedly will miss Monday’s road game in Oklahoma City and then be listed day-to-day for a return to play.
Atlanta Hawks star Kristaps Porzingis is still not ready to return to play after missing the past couple of weeks due to an illness.
Atlanta Hawks / Schedule
According to Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN, Porzingis will miss Monday’s road game against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Youngmisuk adds that after Monday’s game, Porzingis will then be listed as day-to-day for a return.
Porzingis was diagnosed last season in Boston with the autonomic condition postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS).
He and his doctors found ways over the summer to manage his health, and he entered the Hawks’ season in good condition before this recent bout of illness.
Acquired from the Boston Celtics this past offseason, Porzingis is averaging 19.2 points, 5.6 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 1.6 blocks in 25.9 minutes per game across 13 appearances this season.
