Pedro Neto had a quiet game against Aston Villa on Saturday, but he has still been one of Chelsea’s best players this season.
In total, the 25-year-old has registered eight goal contributions in 17 Premier League appearances. He also has one goal in the Carabao Cup.
In the current campaign, Neto has played on the wing and up front, showing his versatility and worth to the team.

However, if Chelsea want to sign another winger next year, they may need to sacrifice the Portuguese.

Chelsea need to sell Pedro Neto before they can sign Oscar Bobb
Journalist Simon Phillips is reporting on Si Phillips Talks Chelsea that the Blues are interested in signing Oscar Bobb from Manchester City.
However, according to Phillips, if Chelsea want to sign Bobb, they will have to offload Neto first.
Neto and Bobb are both right wingers, while Estevao Willian has also played there this season. It is hard to imagine a scenario where all three players are in the same Chelsea squad.
Chelsea could still sign a new attacker after cooling their interest in Antoine Semenyo. Who would you target, or are you content with Alejandro Garnacho and Jamie Gittens?

The Blues will probably need to balance the books, while Bobb is only likely to leave City for a club who can offer him regular minutes.
If Bobb has to compete against both Neto and Estevao, the 22-year-old is going to struggle to get that. In other news, Phillips has also claimed that Chelsea are keen on AZ Alkmaar midfielder Kees Smit.

Why Pedro Neto could be sold regardless
Whether Bobb comes in or not, Chelsea could still find themselves in a position where they have to sell Neto.
Again, the Portugal international is having a strong campaign, but the arrival of Geovany Quenda could push him out of the Stamford Bridge exit door.
With Chelsea looking at other attackers and Neto attracting interest from Saudi Arabia in the past, do not be surprised if the former Wolverhampton Wanderers star leaves west London and joins another team in the summer.
