Predicted team as Cherries head to Chelsea in midweek

Andoni Iraola will be looking for an improved performance from his team after they were poor against Brentford on Saturday to fall to defeat, meaning their run without a win extended to nine games.

The Daily Echo predicts how the Cherries will line up at Stamford Bridge.

**Goalkeeper**

**Djordje Petrovic** looks to have lost some confidence in recent weeks, but, with only two keepers in the first team squad, he will likely start once again at his former club.

**Defenders**

It was a poor defensive display on Saturday, and the Cherries will need to improve significantly if they are to get anything at Stamford Bridge.

**Adrien Truffert** will start at left back, while **Alex Jimenez**, who started on the wing on Saturday, could drop back to right back, where he played in the second half at Brentford.

**Marcos Senesi** will continue at centre back, and while **Bafode Diakite** was poor before he was replaced at halftime against the Bees, Iraola does not have many options so he will likely start again.

**Midfielders**

**Alex Scott** was replaced in some discomfort after a knock on the jaw on Saturday, but, if he is fit to play, I expect he will start again.

Alongside him will likely be **Lewis Cook** – while it would be good to see Ryan Christie feature, it may still be too early for him to start after his return from injury.

**Forwards**

The Cherries lacked bite going forward on Saturday in the first half, as they were on the back foot for much of it.

**Antoine Semenyo** looked most likely to make the difference for the Cherries, and he’ll start again despite continued speculation around his future.

**Evanilson** dropped to the bench at the weekend, but I expect he’ll come back in to start, while I think **Justin Kluivert** will also return.

**Marcus Tavernier** will continue, too, although it would be good to see Evanilson and Junior Kroupi deployed together.
