Ayden Heaven is proving to be an astute signing for Manchester United.
While Patrick Dorgu won the United In Focus man of the match poll following the 1-0 win over Newcastle, centre-back Ayden Heaven ran him close.
Ayden Heaven was presented with the Sky Sports MOTM award, after playing a key role in keeping a clean sheet.

Now in a new interview with club media, Heaven has admitted that he was stunned with how quickly his chances came.
Heaven made his Manchester United debut on March 2 in the FA Cup vs Fulham, just one month after clinching his move to the club.
He said: “I was surprised at how quick I got my chances when I first joined, but I was ready, so hopefully I can get more in the new year.”
Heaven played a total of six games in 2024/25 for United, including starts in the Premier League and Europa League.
He has had to bide his time and wait for a proper opportunity in 2025/26, and is now up to eight appearances in total this campaign.
Heaven’s decision to leave Arsenal for United has been totally justified. Even hard-to-please club legend Roy Keane has been impressed.

Heaven excited to work with Ruben Amorim
Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim has shown trust in Ayden Heaven, and last season he hailed his low cost acquisition.
Amorim said United needed more signings like Heaven, praising technical director Jason Wilcox for pulling off the deal.
Heaven is delighted to work with Amorim, and thanks him for putting him into his first team plans.
He said: “He’s a brilliant manager. He’s always reassuring me and helping me improve. He’s a great guy as well off the pitch, and I’m going to love to continue working with him.
“It helps a lot to know that the manager cares about you and that he takes his time to come and speak to you. It’s good.”
