Real Madrid reject other clubs’ interest in Mastantuono

Real Madrid wonderkid Franco Mastantuono has attracted interest from several European clubs, but Los Blancos have turned down those approaches, according to a report by MARCA. Napoli explored a loan move for Mastantuono that would have run until the end of the season, but Real Madrid ultimately opted to keep the Argentine attacker.

Mastantuono hasn’t had a relevant role for Real Madrid ever since he recovered from his pubalgia, which kept him out on the sidelines for more than a month. While he was established in the starting lineup before that injury, it now looks like he is behind Rodrygo and even Fede Valverde in the pecking order, as coach Xabi Alonso also decided to change the system when Jude Bellingham made his return from shoulder surgery.

Mastantuono has a lot of potential and Real Madrid still believe that he can make an impact this season, so it will be interesting to see his role during the second half of the campaign.
