Arsenal are reportedly keeping a close eye on Kobbie Mainoo’s situation as his Manchester United future remains uncertain.
Arsenal insider Talking Ball claims on X that the Gunners are closely monitoring the 20-year-old midfielder. This is ahead of the January transfer window.
Mainoo has struggled for regular minutes under Ruben Amorim this season, and there is a growing expectation that he could leave the club soon.
Multiple top clubs across Europe have been linked with a potential move, including Bayern Munich, Chelsea and Napoli.
Now, it appears Arsenal have joined the race for Mainoo’s signature. Internal discussions over a possible loan move are understood to have taken place. Although, no contact has yet been made between the clubs.
The report also claims that Mainoo would be open to a move to Mikel Arteta’s side.
