ANTOINE Semenyo’s representatives are due to discuss contract terms with Manchester City today, according to reports.

Sky Sports have reported that Semenyo’s team are due in Manchester to finalise terms, with City looking to trigger the £65million release clause that is included in the Ghanaian’s contract.

They are hoping to finalise that deal when the transfer window opens on Thursday, with Semenyo’s representatives reportedly expected to agree on a long-term deal with Pep Guardiola’s side.

City appear to be leading the race for the [Cherries](http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/cherries/clubnews/?ref=au) forward, after interest from other clubs including Liverpool, Manchester United, Spurs and Chelsea, who Bournemouth face on Tuesday night.

That could be Semenyo’s final appearance for Bournemouth, should City complete the move when the window opens.

The BBC have also reported that Semenyo is keen to have his future resolved by January 1, and while City are in advanced talks, until something formal is signed, other clubs who have harboured an interest could come in for the forward.

Andoni Iraola, though, reiterated on Saturday that he would like to keep Semenyo, although he admitted it is beyond his control.
