Enzo Maresca has given an injury update ahead of Chelsea’s Premier League fixture against Bournemouth on Tuesday.
Chelsea lost their last game to Aston Villa and were without Romeo Lavia, Dario Essugo and Jorrel Hato.
Lavia is still out injured so will not play against Bournemouth, while Essugo suffered a setback on his road to recovery.

Hato has not had any serious injuries this season, but he did miss the Villa match and has barely been used by Maresca.

Enzo Maresca not expecting Jorrel Hato back
If anyone was hoping to see Hato get an opportunity on Tuesday, they are likely to be left disappointed.
In his pre-match press conference, which was done after Chelsea’s loss to Aston Villa, Maresca practically ruled Hato out of the game.
Speaking to football.london and other outlets when asked whether the 19-year-old was fit, Maresca said: “I don’t think so, no, I don’t think so.”
Even if he had not picked up an injury, Maresca probably still would have snubbed him. Since arriving at Chelsea from Ajax, Hato has made just four appearances in the Premier League.
What changes would you like to see Enzo Maresca make for the Bournemouth game? 🤔
Fofana coming in surely has to be one of them!

It was recently claimed that Ajax want to re-sign Hato on loan, and it would not be a surprise if the Dutchman decided to go.
Marc Cucurella is not going to give up that left-back spot any time soon. The Spain international has been fantastic this term and is one of Maresca’s favourite players.
