The seven-foot veteran, now in his eighth season in the NBA, has averaged 16.5 points and 12 rebounds with the Salt Lake City Stars team and now brings a much-needed big man to the Raptors front court.

Bamba was the No. 6 pick in the 2018 NBA draft to the Orlando Magic, where he remained until 2023.

The 27-year-old went on to play for the Los Angeles Lakers and Philadelphia 76ers before playing for the Los Angeles Clippers and New Orleans Pelicans a season ago, averaging 4.3 points, 4.5 rebounds and 12.9 minutes per contest in 32 games.

In 364 career games, he has averaged 6.8 points and 5.4 rebounds.

Prior to the NBA, Bamba was a top high school recruit and dominated in his lone year with the Texas Longhorns, averaging 10.5 rebounds and 3.7 blocks per game.
