The NBA has released the first fan voting results for the 2026 All-Star Game starters, with Los Angeles Lakers superstar Luka Doncic topping the Western Conference and Milwaukee Bucks leader Giannis Antetokounmpo leading the East.

Doncic garnered nearly 1.25 million votes to pace the West, while Antetokounmpo collected 1.19 million in the East.

Fan votes account for 50% of the total weight in selecting starters, combined with 25% each from current players and a media panel.

Another European supertar – Nikola Jokic – is second in the West with 1.13 million votes. Steph Curry (West), Tyrese Maxey (East), Jalen Brunson (East), and Cade Cunningham (East) are the only other players who collected more than 1.0 million votes.

Reigning MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is fourth in the West.

The results have featured some surprises in the Western Conference. Portland Trail Blazers forward Deni Avdija ranks seventh—ahead of veterans like newly acquired Houston Rockets star Kevin Durant and Los Angeles Lakers icon LeBron James, who landed ninth.

The 2026 NBA All-Star Game, set for February 15 at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles (with weekend events February 13-15), will feature a new U.S. vs. World format in a round-robin tournament.

Voting continues daily via the NBA App and NBA.com, with the next update on January 6.
