The San Antonio Spurs are at home on Monday night as they host the Cleveland Cavaliers in an interconference showdown.

San Antonio enters Monday’s game with a 23-8 record after losing at home to the Utah Jazz on Saturday night.

In Saturday’s loss to the Jazz, Victor Wembanyama led the way for the Spurs as he recorded 32 points, seven rebounds and five blocks while Keldon Johnson added 27 points and 10 rebounds of his own off the bench.

Now San Antonio will try to bounce back at home on Monday as they face off against the Cavaliers in a tough matchup.

On the other side, Cleveland enters Monday’s contest with a 17-16 record after losing on the road to the Houston Rockets on Saturday night.

Jaylon Tyson led the way for the Cavaliers in Saturday’s loss as he ended the game with 23 points and 15 rebounds off the bench while Donovan Mitchell recorded 16 points and six assists.

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Monday night’s matchup, one squad may be without one of their star players due to injury.

For the Cavaliers, they have two players listed on their injury report as they have ruled out Max Strus and Larry Nance Jr.

Cleveland has ruled out Strus as he continues to be sidelined to begin the season while recovering from a left foot injury.

The Cavaliers have also ruled out Nance Jr. due to a right calf strain that has sidelined him since November 28.

Outside of these two players, the rest of Cleveland’s roster enters Monday’s game healthy as they try to grab their 18th victory of the season.

Spurs Injury Report, Will De’Aaron Fox Play?

On the other side, the Spurs have only one player listed on their injury report as they have listed star guard De’Aaron Fox as questionable.

San Antonio has listed Fox as questionable due to left adductor tightness and he is in danger of missing his second consecutive contest after he sat out Saturday’s loss to the Jazz.

If Fox is sidelined once again on Monday, Julian Champagnie may fill in for him once again in the starting lineup alongside Stephon Castle in the backcourt while Dylan Harper could also have an increased role off the bench.

Outside of Fox, the rest of the Spurs’ roster enters Monday’s game healthy as they try to pick up their 24th victory of the season.

Fans can catch Monday night’s matchup between the Cavaliers and Spurs from San Antonio at 8:00 p.m. EST on NBC and Peacock.
