According to Dusty Garza, the Oklahoma City Thunder may emerge as a key facilitator in potential Trae Young–Anthony Davis trade talks. OKC, led by GM Sam Presti, is well-positioned to help structure a multi-team deal.
Rival scouts view former No. 1 pick Zaccharie Risacher as an ideal "buy-low" developmental prospect for the Thunder, per the same report.
Oklahoma City has both the financial flexibility and surplus draft capital to absorb Risacher's contract while supplying Atlanta with the assets needed to complete a blockbuster trade with Dallas.
Risacher has yet to develop as the Hawks hoped, and Marc Stein reports that Atlanta is open to moving him in the right deal.

However, Chris Haynes previously reported that any potential trade involving the Hawks would not include Trae Young.
Instead, Dallas would likely focus on Atlanta's expiring contracts, young players, draft picks, and Risacher.
Davis, 32, is earning $54.1 million this season and is owed $58.5 million next year. He also holds a $62.8 million player option for the 2027–28 season.
