The Lakers coach offered both positive and negative injury news regarding his group.
The Los Angeles Lakers have offered mixed injury updates on their team this Monday.
Head coach JJ Redick told reporters that Jaxson Hayes had already returned to the team's practice after being out due to a sore left ankle.
Hayes has missed the Lakers' last two games, and there is a chance he'll be available on Tuesday against the Detroit Pistons.
Meanwhile, Redick noted that Rui Hachimura didn't join them, who is a "little banged up" after recently returning from groin issues.
"We're still waiting on a little more info," Redick said of Hachimura. "We don't think it's anything serious, he's just a little banged up."
LA continues to operate cautiously in managing the health and availability of its group. The Lakers can't endure another injury blow, considering the significant absence that Austin Reaves will spend.
The Lakers (20-10) are coming off a much-needed 125-101 victory last Sunday against the Sacramento Kings to snap their three-game losing skid.
