Barcelona midfielder Pedri says he’s feeling good and is ready to go again after returning to training after the festive break.
He’s now looking forward to taking on Espanyol in the Catalan derby on Saturday at the RCDE Stadium.
”I wanted to train. I had a little overload. Fortunately I feel well now, eager to continue contributing to the team and enjoy myself on the pitch,” he told Sport.
“I’m feeling very good to play. We’re arriving at the derby with good momentum, Espanyol won’t make it easy, but we’ll go out to win as always.”
Barcelona head into the match on a run of eight straight wins in La Liga which has seen Hansi Flick’s side move four points clear at the top of the table.
