Chelsea are interested in signing Antonio R üdiger again.
The German international first played for Chelsea between 2017 and 2022, making more than 200 appearances for the club in all competitions, and helping them win the FA Cup, the Champions League, the Europa League and the Club World Cup during his time at Stamford Bridge.
That earned him a move to Real Madrid where he has achieved more success.
But now 32 years old, there is some uncertainty about his future in the Spanish capital. He is out of contract at the end of the season, and given his recent injury record, there is unlikely to be the offer of a renewal.
Whilst he has a number of options available to him, including a move to Turkey and Galatasaray, Chelsea are interested in bringing him back for a second spell in West London, believing that his experience would be a major addition to what remains a young squad.
