The player has a £65million release clause, with Chelsea, City, Liverpool, Manchester United and Tottenham all enquiring. Pep Guardiola's team, however, are the only club believed to have made contact with Bournemouth.
Semenyo is not the only player facing an uncertain New Year, either. All of Federico Chiesa, Ibrahima Konate, Joe Gomez, and Mohamed Salah are the subjects of speculation this winter.

What the ECHO has learned about Antoine Semenyo transfer interest
The ECHO's Liverpool FC correspondent, Paul Gorst, reports that the expectation is that Antoine Semenyo will join Manchester City.
Sources at both Anfield and Bournemouth are of the belief that the 25-year-old attacker will sign for Pep Guardiola's side early next month, and with the £65m release clause only live until the 10th of next month, the Citizens are said to be ready to bring him in at the earliest opportunity, and that process is already underway.
Gorst also writes:
According to those with knowledge of the inner workings at Bournemouth, the champions' name has rarely featured where the future of Semenyo is concerned.
