“They’ve Got The X-Factor”–Arsenal&Man City Told Who Are The PL Title“Favourites”

Arsenal are embroiled in a title fight against Manchester City and Aston Villa, as they have just a two-point lead at the top of the table.

The Gunners are preparing for a massive clash against Aston Villa on Tuesday night, which could blow the title race completely open. If Villa were to win, they would go level on points with the Gunners, but if Arsenal win, their lead would extend to five over Manchester City.

Pep Guardiola’s side come up against Sunderland in their next game on Thursday night, which won’t be an easy test. If Arsenal beat Villa, and Man City drop points against Sunderland, Mikel Arteta will be a very happy man heading into 2026.

Either way, it looks as though we are set for a close fought title battle between Arsenal and Man City yet again, with City winning the last two times the two rivals were against each other at the top of the league.

Arsenal told Man City are favourites to win

Amid the title battle developing between Arsenal and City, the Gunners have been told that they are second-favourites, despite the fact they are currently two points clear at the top of the table.

Speaking on Sky Sports News, former Premier League midfielder Jamie O’Hara suggested that City are favourites despite Arsenal’s lead. He said: “I’m not surprised that it’s tight because Arsenal are a really good side, they’ve been solid, I don’t think they’ve been incredible.

“Man City didn’t start the season brilliant, but they’ve got going and they’re playing some really good stuff, so all to play for. We’re going to be looking at an amazing end to the season.

“It’s all to play for. I think Man City are favourites, I know Arsenal are top, but I think Man City know how to do it after Christmas. When it gets to January, they kick on. I think Arsenal have been really good, playing well, but they’re not scoring free-flowing goals, set-pieces they’ve been brilliant, but if you look at Manchester City, they’ve got the X-factor.”
