Borussia Dortmund are leading the race for Manchester City's Oscar Bobb, who is edging towards the exit door as he eyes more game time to unlock his obvious potential.
The winger has come through the ranks at the Etihad and had a big reputation, but his progress was stalled by a serious injury. He has since fallen down the pecking order and a move away is on the cards with the Bundesliga looking a likely destination.
Bobb, who had a headline moment when he scored a stoppage time winner at Newcastle several seasons ago, has a number of potential suitors with Dortmund among those keen on signing him. The Mail reports they are in negotiations over a loan move until the end of the season, with a view to then pushing through a permanent deal worth around £30million.
Sevilla and Atletico Madrid are monitoring the Norwegian as well whilst there is also Premier League interest. Crystal Palace and Bournemouth have been looking at him, but their decisions will likely depend on who comes in and out at the respective clubs.
Newcastle are also keen with Bobb's attraction being his ability to play out wide but also in a more central position. The former City director of football Txiki Begiristain earmarked him as the best player in the U23s when he was with them.
Dortmund have enjoyed success in the past by pursuing City youngsters who have not made themselves a first-team regular. Jadon Sancho wanted opportunities back when he was at the Etihad and headed to the German club to further his career - which he did emphatically.
City were frustrated to lose Sancho when he departed and the Englishman's stock peaked when he was playing with Dortmund. He was among the most effective wingers in Europe, producing regular goals and assists, before leaving for Manchester United, which banked the German club a huge profit.

City, who are currently the favourites to land Antoine Semenyo from the Cherries, are having to assess their attacking options with several players available to Pep Guardiola. Omar Marmoush, currently away at AFCON, has seen game time heavily reduced. Savinho also has a number of interested parties even though the Brazilian recently signed a new contract after Tottenham ’s failed bid in the summer.
The Manchester outfit maintain they want both of those forwards to stay and it would require a mammoth offer for them to change their stance.
