The latest Manchester City transfer news and gossip ahead of the January transfer window.
Man City could complete a double transfer deal in the opening days of the January transfer window. City are confident they will complete a deal to sign Antoine Semenyo and the arrival of the Bournemouth star is set to open the door for anther forward to leave the club next month.
Semenyo has a £65 million release clause in his current contract that is only active until 10 January, so that Bournemouth have enough time to replace him in the window. It means it might not be long before City agree a financial package to bring him to the club, a step that could accelerate the exit of Oscar Bobb.
The 22-year-old has attracted plenty of interest ahead of the January transfer window and will be allowed to leave next month as long as the deal for Semenyo goes through. Here is all the latest on both deals.

City 'close' to Semenyo agreement with Bobb talks 'ongoing'
It is no secret Man City are expected to sign Antoine Semenyo early next month and the latest reports suggest a full agreement over his move is now close.
Sky Sports claim talks between City and Bournemouth have progressed quickly in the past 24 hours and have now reached the advanced stages. The clubs are currently sorting out the payment structure of his £65m release clause, while City are also understood to be close to finalising personal terms with the winger.
The report also claims there is no rush to conclude the deal, with no other club expected to intervene at this late stage and his release clause not active until Thursday, when the transfer window officially opens.
When that is done, there should be movement on Oscar Bobb, who has been told he can leave the club if and when Semenyo is signed next month. Taking to social media on Tuesday, notorious transfer reporter Fabrizio Romano issued an update on his future, with Borussia Dortmund one of several clubs interested in a potential move.
"Borussia Dortmund and Man City are in talks over Oscar Bobb deal, as exclusively revealed last week," Romano posted on X. "Bobb can leave Manchester City if/when Semenyo joins with more clubs also keen, not only BVB."
