Here is everything you need to know about the latest Arsenal injury news hours before the huge Aston Villa clash in the Premier League with two late updates emerging...
Late Declan Rice blow : While not officially "injured," he was notably absent from Monday’s training photos. The Athletic have now claimed that he is likely to miss the Villa game because of a knee injury despite every effort to make him available. He has still arrived to the team hotel, however.
Jurrien Timber hope: Missed the Brighton match after landing awkwardly in the Carabao Cup. He is being assessed and has an "outside chance" of featuring tonight, but the likelihood of that did increase with his appearance at the team hotel ahead of kick-off.
Kai Havertz return: After four months out with a severe knee injury, Havertz has returned to full training. Latest reports indicate he will be included in the squad for the Villa game and could feature from the bench
Gabriel Magalhaes boost: Returned in the win over Brighton off the bench and is likely to start against Villa on Tuesday.
Riccardo Calafiori doubts: A major doubt for Villa after pulling out during the warm-up against Brighton. Mikel Arteta described the issue as "awkward," but the fact he attempted to warm up suggests it may not be long-term.
Ben White: Currently out with a hamstring injury suffered against Wolves.
Cristhian Mosquera: Sidelined with an ankle injury and not expected back until mid-to-late January.
Max Dowman: The youngster is out with an ankle injury and is expected back in early February.
