Estevao reacts during Chelsea vs Bournemouth

Chelsea were once again unable to cope with long throws as Bournemouth hurt the Blues twice with Antoine Semenyo's launch in a 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge.

David Brooks gave the Cherries an early lead after Semenyo's throw was not dealt with, but Cole Palmer levelled from the penalty spot not long after. Enzo Fernandez then gave Chelsea the lead on 23 minutes with a fine finish into the top corner.

However, the visitors pegged the hosts back when Semenyo's throw into the box once again caused chaos. This time, Justin Kluivert was on hand to tap in at the far post after Trevoh Chalobah's mistimed header.

A first-half with four goals, shared equally, but there were none in the second period. Below, **football.london** rates the Chelsea players out of 10 based on their performance:

**Robert Sanchez**

Sanchez could have done better for the opening goal. He parries it straight to Brooks, who scored on the rebound. However, the Spaniard made a brilliant save 18 minutes in to deny Brooks scoring his second of the game. **6**.

**Josh Acheampong**

First appearance in the Premier League in more than two months. Up against the tricky Semenyo. Struggled. Just didn't look as assured and as confident as he usually does. **4**.

**Wesley Fofana**

Back in the defence. Did well at times, especially one moment when he calmly controlled the ball with his head after a dangerous lofted pass in his direction. **6**.

**Trevoh Chalobah**

Really not great for Kluivert's goal. His flick on allows the Bournemouth forward a tap-in at the far post as Chelsea once again hesitated when defending a long throw-in. **5**.

**Malo Gusto**

Started at left-back in place of the injured Marc Cucurella. Was caught out of position for Bournemouth's big chance on 18 minutes. Gusto was up the pitch and vacated the space for Brooks, who should have scored. **5**.

**Moises Caicedo**

Picks up a booking very early on and will now miss the trip to Manchester City at the weekend. Such an early yellow seemed to impact him a bit, understandably. **6**.

**Enzo Fernandez**

Fernandez hits a brilliant strike into the top corner on 23 minutes. A bit lucky with his touch to set the chance up, but there was nothing fortunate about the strike into the top corner. Gave it away sloppily a couple of times. **7**.

**Estevao Willian**

The 18-year-old made his first start in the Premier League since the start of the month. It was classic Estevao early on to win Chelsea a penalty. His trickery had Bournemouth's defence dancing and he was eventually brought down by Semenyo. By far Chelsea's best player, even when he switched to the left-hand side in the second-half. **8**.

**Cole Palmer**

Palmer made back-to-back Premier League starts for the first time this season. An expertly taken penalty to draw Chelsea level. Wasn't able to impact proceedings as much as he would have hoped. **7**.

**Alejandro Garnacho**

Garnacho set his compatriot Fernandez up for Chelsea's second goal of the match. Just before that, he was guilty of pondering on the ball too much and wasted a good chance to shoot. Hooked at half-time. **4**.

**Liam Delap**

Delap's first start since earlier in the month (December 6) against Bournemouth, ironically. Looked powerful with some of his running. Not always found by his teammates when running in behind which must be frustrating for the No.9. **6**.

**Reece James (on for Acheampong 46')**

On at half-time. Passed it well but wasn't able to influence the match like he has done in other recent appearances. **6**.

**Pedro Neto (on for Garnacho 46')**

Neto looked bright. Played a good cross towards Delap not long after coming on. Not enough of an impact, though. **6**.

**Joao Pedro (on for Palmer 63')**

Came on with just under half an hour of normal time remaining. Not able to make an impact. **6**.

**Andrey Santos (on for Delap 87')**

Some minutes but didn't notice him too much. **N/A**.
