Arsenal retained some breathing space atop the Premier League with a big 4-1 win over Aston Villa on Tuesday night.
The Gunners played out a nervy first half at 0-0, but finally found their clinical edge in the second half. It was a set piece again that saw the breakthrough, a wicked Bukayo Saka cross finding its way in between touches from Emi Martinez and Gabriel.
Goals then followed for Zubimendi, Trossard and substitute Gabriel Jesus.
It means Arsenal will lead the league heading into the new year, regardless of Manchester City’s result on Thursday.
