‘A win is a win’ — Warriors fans react to win over Nets

The Golden State Warriors shook off a rough Sunday loss by beating the Brooklyn Nets [120-107 on Monday](/warriors-scores-results/106683/warriors-nets-recap-steph-curry-jimmy-butler-iii) night. It was an up-and-down game that gave the Dubs their fourth win in their last five games … perhaps they’re finally finding some momentum?

Here’s a look at how Warriors fans viewed the action in real time, as seen through the lens of the comment section in the _Golden State of Mind_ [game thread](/warriors-game-previews/106668/how-to-watch-warriors-vs-nets).

The Warriors started horribly, as they ceded multiple unanswered Nets runs of double digits. But, thanks in large part to Jimmy Butler III, they ended the quarter strong and trailed just 30-28.

The second quarter was close all the way through, as neither team could separate. Trayce Jackson-Davis had some huge minutes, and the Warriors led 59-57 at the break.

The third quarter went back-and-forth as well, and it briefly looked like the Nets would take control. But Butler again led a late push, and the Warriors led 89-85 entering the fourth.

There would be no blown fourth quarter lead this time, with huge plays late by Steph Curry, Will Richard, and De’Anthony Melton carrying the Warriors to victory.
