The Warriors started horribly, as they ceded multiple unanswered Nets runs of double digits. But, thanks in large part to Jimmy Butler III, they ended the quarter strong and trailed just 30-28.
The second quarter was close all the way through, as neither team could separate. Trayce Jackson-Davis had some huge minutes, and the Warriors led 59-57 at the break.
The third quarter went back-and-forth as well, and it briefly looked like the Nets would take control. But Butler again led a late push, and the Warriors led 89-85 entering the fourth.
There would be no blown fourth quarter lead this time, with huge plays late by Steph Curry, Will Richard, and De’Anthony Melton carrying the Warriors to victory.
