Nikola Jokic collapsed to the court and turned a backward somersault as he writhed in pain from a knee injury that seemingly put the rest of his season in jeopardy. The Denver Nuggets’ giant center curled into a ball near the baseline; the best player in basketball was now at the mercy of medical imaging.
