Chelsea will be glad to see the back of December after dropping more points on Tuesday night.
Chelsea drew 2-2 with Bournemouth in the Premier League, which follows their 2-1 loss to Aston Villa.
It means Enzo Maresca’s side have won just one of their last seven top-flight fixtures. To make matters worse, Moises Caicedo has picked up another suspension after receiving his fifth yellow card of the season.

Understandably, Chelsea fans are not happy right now, and Maresca saw that unhappiness first-hand on Tuesday night.

Chelsea fans tell Enzo Maresca ‘you don’t know what you’re doing’ after Cole Palmer sub
Just after the hour mark, Maresca decided to substitute Cole Palmer and replace him with Joao Pedro. It was a change that did not go down well with supporters.
Journalist Lloyd Canfield shared on X that Chelsea fans booed the substitution and aimed chants of “you don’t know what you’re doing” at Maresca.
Palmer was the man to equalise for the Blues after David Brooks had given Bournemouth an early lead.

Enzo Fernandez then put Chelsea in front, but it was not enough, as Justin Kluivert managed to make it 2-2 before the half-time whistle. The game finished like that, with Maresca’s men dropping points once again.
At the end of the match, Maresca and Chelsea were booed by some supporters, who have clearly seen enough.

Chelsea regressing under Enzo Maresca
Unfortunately, Chelsea have not made any progress under Maresca this season. If anything, they have gone backwards.
At this rate, it looks like they will miss out on a top-four finish, especially with Villa flying right now.
Unai Emery’s team were beaten 4-1 by Chelsea’s London rivals Arsenal on Tuesday, but their overall form recently has been stunning.
A lot of people will be backing them, Arsenal, Manchester City and possibly Liverpool to finish in the Champions League places. Maresca and Chelsea have to fix up soon; otherwise, they risk a season in the Europa League.
