The Chelsea owners and directors would not have been happy with Tuesday night’s result against Bournemouth.
Chelsea drew 2-2 with Andoni Iraola’s side, meaning that they have now picked up just seven points from the 21 that were available from their last seven games.
Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali will not be pleased with that, with the Blues currently sitting outside of the top four.

However, the two Chelsea owners will also be unhappy with Enzo Maresca right now.

Chelsea board suspect Enzo Maresca is thinking about another job
According to journalist Simon Phillips, who has posted an update on Maresca’s situation on Si Phillips Talks Chelsea, there is a belief among the Chelsea board that their manager is eyeing a summer move.
The prospect of one is “distracting” him, the Chelsea higher-ups believe, and Tuesday’s draw with Bournemouth would not have done him any favours.
It is not a shock to hear claims about Maresca thinking about life after Chelsea. In October, the 45-year-old changed agent, deciding to turn to Jorge Mendes’ agency Gestifute.

Maresca is clearly not happy himself, alleging that he had not been supported prior to his side’s 2-0 win over Everton earlier this month.
The Italian never clarified those comments, but they were likely aimed at his bosses. If things do not improve behind the scenes, a Stamford Bridge exit seems inevitable.
Someone like Unai Emery would be a suitable candidate to succeed Maresca, but the club already appear to have someone in mind.

Liam Rosenior could replace Enzo Maresca
According to Phillips, Liam Rosenior, who is currently working at Chelsea’s sister club Strasbourg, is the main candidate to replace Maresca if he does end up departing.
Chelsea are also thought to admire Oliver Glasner and a few other managers. Glasner’s contract at Crystal Palace expires in the summer and he is not any closer to signing a new one.
It means he could be an option that costs Chelsea nothing, though a lot can still happen between now and the end of the season.
