'We found that out': Liverpool star Conor Bradley says what he truly thinks about Leeds United

Leeds United go to Anfield to take on Liverpool on New Year’s Day, but the odds are stacked against Daniel Farke’s side as they look to maintain their unbeaten run.

In December, Leeds played host to a side struggling for form under Arne Slot. Leeds had beaten Chelsea and were at home, which played a big part in Leeds coming from behind twice to eventually draw 3-3.

Now, Leeds go to Anfield to face a Liverpool side in excellent form. The Reds have won their last four games in all competitions, beating Inter Milan, Brighton, Tottenham and then Wolves, last time out.

On a scale of 1-10, how happy are you with Daniel Farke? 👏

Even Florian Wirtz finally opened his account against Wolves, with Daniel Farke hyping up Wirtz in his latest press conference. Not only do Leeds face an in-form Liverpool, but they do so without Joe Rodon.

Conor Bradley says what he noticed about Leeds in 3-3 draw

Bradley was only a substitute in the win over Wolves last time out, but the chances are that he comes back into the side against Wolves given Slot gave a few fringe players a chance against the bottom side.

Speaking ahead of the Leeds clash, Northern Ireland defender Bradley spoke of what he realised about Leeds in the draw back in December. He feels Leeds are a “really good” team and will be tough to beat.

“Leeds are a really good team – we found that out a few weeks ago when we went to Elland Road. We know it’s going to be a difficult game but we’re really looking forward to it,” Bradley told Liverpool’s site.

Leeds United wanted to sign Conor Bradley back in 2024

Daniel Farke’s first January window at Leeds saw the Whites need a right-back. Luke Ayling was on the way out to Middlesbrough and Archie Gray was seen by many as more effective in central midfield.

Leeds eventually brought in Wales international Conor Roberts on loan from Burnley. But according to TeamTalk, Roberts was not the only right-back eyed by Leeds. Liverpool’s Bradley was also a target.

Bradley remained at Anfield instead, and made his Premier League debut that month. Now, Bradley goes up against Leeds for the second time in a few weeks, with Jayden Bogle operating as Leeds’ right-back.
