🔴 Swansea City : Vipotnik latest, Galbraith and McConnell transfer news

Swansea City will be linked with as many targets as the summer and you can be sure of that this winter transfer window. The ill informed and basically untruthful sites (who are never challenged) spew out their latest news. Often made up these sites have no real access to agents or intermediaries who we have in our trust, Thats a two way street.
In the summer we dealt with 19 rumoured players ‘joining’ the Swans which we quickly resolved through some hard work and telephone calls to people who have been bullet proof over the last year and a half. Our information (we have to repeat) is collected using our own system of analysing information, much the same as intelligence gathering. It’s a trusted way of utilising information and grading it appropriately. We made it our business to interact with people at the sharp end of transfer talks and that became a policy we went with around two years ago. Every agent knows exactly what is happening even if they do not have direct contact with the player. The agent fraternity is tight knit and in the main very difficult to get information from. However, trust is the issue. Sometimes we can be fed information that seems incorrect, it seems many fans don’t get the fact that people change their minds in minutes on the details of a contract. Millions of pounds can be lost by loose lips so to gain information you have to have a serious degree of honesty and integrity when in conversation. Why do we do it ? Nothing to do with being ‘in the know’ We have three qualified journalists on this site and two very good young researchers. If you are going to do this, then do it right.
And we stand by the work we do, the summer proved that time and time again.

In one case a lost partner last year. They see what we do and they appreciate it. Of course from our viewing figures on reports we know that thousands also come here for Swans news. We genuinely appreciate that.
Transfer news connected to the Swans today is along the lines of a twenty one year old Liverpool midfielder called James McConnell (below) Wales On Line (why bother ? ) report that the Swans are holding interest in the player. In fact they are on red alert ! Really … Other outlets including Football League World who are the epitome of ‘click bait’ reports have also reported James McConnell as of interest to Swansea. The story came from the Daily Mail which surprised us and immediately triggered us to do more work. As a result we can now say that Swansea City are not in the market for a midfielder as it stands. We reported the other day that the Swans are waiting on any recalls on Malick Yalcouyé, Kaelan Casey, Manuel Benson and Ishé Samuels-Smith. The club are expecting contact early next week on these players. Casey and Yalcouyé are the two players the fans want to retain, sadly the other two haven’t had the opportunity to show how good they are.
Even if Yalcouyé does leave there will be what is being described as a ‘very hopeful’ opportunity to bring in a right back, potentially on loan. This will free up Ethan Galbraith to return to his commanding midfield role. With Marko Stamenic, Melker Widell, Gonçalo Franco, a more advanced Liam Cullen and Jay Fulton already in the squad with Zeidane Inoussa, Eom, Ronald and Sam Parker already capable of operating on the flanks the recruitment of a right back not only gives Ethan back to the midfield it tidies up recent concerns over Josh Key.
However, there’s plenty out there.
Zān Vipotnik is back in the news with outlets reporting on him ‘in a way’ putting himself in the shop window. The words he used recently may be slightly loaded. "It's nice to hear because everyone is dreaming to play somewhere, but I'm focused on Swansea. It's December. I want to score as many goals as I can and I hope that the next game I'll score again to help the team win and we'll see what happens." That potentially indicates his future wishes. However, Adam Idah is out and that’s looking like around a month before he returns so any move for Vipotnik especially in January will cost multi millions. West Ham have not inquired in any way for Zān but other clubs are interested of course. Premier League (at this moment in time ? - possibly not) Nothing official has happened on the Slovenian striker whatsoever. However, those who read our summer transfer reports will know of our direct links to Zān. The other player of interest is of course, Ethan Galbraith. There are many clubs monitoring him and again on January he will also cost multi millions, some sources think 15-20M. Obviously at those prices the Swans would have their heads turned. But it’s all conjecture because the Swans have had no inquiries as yet.
Remember, these things do change dramatically, there’s no more free radical as folk.
