Liverpool could push for more signings and exits in the January transfer window, with Arne Slot possibly given more tools in his squad to compete at the top, once again.
Mohamed Salah applauds the fans.
Mohamed Salah has been linked with an exit from Liverpool in January.
Liverpool's summer transfer window broke plenty of records, having spent roughly £450million on new signings to help improve off the back of winning the last season. That value for money hasn't quite been found yet, however, as the side have struggled through the first half of the campaign.
That could see the Reds enter the market yet again, with several options available to help strengthen the squad at disposal. Defenders may well be a priority, given the lack of centre-backs currently available. There could be a desire to add new players in the midfield or out wide, too.
On the other hand, may look towards their own squad to raise more transfer funds, as they will need to find a balance along the way. Several players could lgo over the next month, changing how the squad looks by the end of the month.
So, with that said, Google's AI assistant - Gemini - has predicted the January transfer window ahead, suggesting which deals could go ahead. There are six deals in total, with three incomings and, also, as many outgoings in the market, so here's a look at those suggestions.
Mohamed Salah move
Mohamed Salah has faced an uncertain future at Liverpool, following comments made before he left on international duty for AFCON. The forward's outburst in discussions with reporters suggested that he may well leave the club, although it's unclear if that will actually be the case. The Saudi Pro League have been reported as a place of interest for the forward, which could see him make a move in January. (Image: (Photo by FRANCK FIFE / AFP via Getty Images)) 1 of 6
2. ### Federico Chiesa exit
Federico Chiesa has struggled in his time at Liverpool so far, with injuries impacting his start to life at the club, with Arne Slot struggling to fit him in the team. That may well open up the possibility of an exit, if other teams are willing to snap-up the Italy international. (Image: (Photo by Robbie Jay Barratt - AMA/Getty Images)) 2 of 6
3.
Youngster Trey Nyoni has featured on a few occasions for the Liverpool senior side now, having made his way through the academy ranks. The starlet needs more game time, however, which may open him up to a possible loan switch in January. (Image: (Photo by Oli SCARFF / AFP via Getty Images)) 3 of 6
