The team officially announced that the 21-year-old forward has been diagnosed with a right MCL sprain and will be re-evaluated in approximately four weeks.
This season, Thiero has appeared in 15 games for the Lakers, averaging 1.3 points and 1.2 rebounds in around six minutes per game.
The Lakers are currently sitting fifth in the Western Conference standings with a 20–11 record.
