Spurs forward sets new franchise record vs. Knicks

Spurs forward Julian Champagnie broke the franchise record for most three-pointers in a single game, hitting 11 against the Knicks on New Year’s Eve.

San Antonio Spurs forward Julian Champagnie had a career night on New Year’s Eve against the New York Knicks.

The 24-year-old dropped a career-high 36 points and grabbed six rebounds to help the Spurs secure a 134–132 home win against one of the top teams in the NBA.

Champagnie was on fire in this game, making 11 three-pointers (11/17 3PT). With this performance, he set a new franchise record for most threes in a single game, surpassing Chuck Person, who hit nine three-pointers back in 1997.
