Liverpool are not expected to be that busy in January, but there could be some movement over the next month.
More depth at centre-back seems to be the priority at Anfield now that the winter transfer window is open.
Marc Guehi continues to be discussed as an option, but his Crystal Palace teammate Maxence Lacroix is linked to Liverpool as well.

Meanwhile, there could be some exits on Merseyside before the transfer window slams shut.
Liverpool could loan Trent Kone-Doherty, while another former academy graduate could also be on the move.
James Norris in talks to leave Liverpool
Born in Liverpool, James Norris is a product of the Reds’ youth system and made his first-team debut back in the 2019/20 campaign.
The 22-year-old has since been sent out on loan on two occasions, first joining EFL outfit Tranmere.
MORE LIVERPOOL STORIES
Most recently, Norris enjoyed a spell in Ireland with Shelbourne, where he was competing in the Europa Conference League.
He made 45 appearances during his most recent loan spell, providing four assists in the process.
Norris is a natural left-back but has featured as a left-sided midfielder on 25 occasions, played 21 games as a central midfielder, and also been used at right-back, centre-back, left-wing, and as an attacking midfielder during his career to date.
Such versatility could have proven useful to Liverpool given the size of their squad right now, but after returning from his loan on December 31, the Englishman now looks set for a permanent exit this month.
The Athletic reports that Norris is now in discussions about a permanent move to Shelbourne. No potential transfer fee is mentioned for the 22-year-old.

Two more players return to Liverpool
Norris is not the only on-loan player to make his return to Liverpool this week.
Owen Beck, who has been hampered by injury issues while on the books of Derby County, is now back on Merseyside.
James McConnell has also made his return to Liverpool after struggling for minutes while at Ajax.
The aforementioned report says McConnell’s future is not expected to be decided until later this month.
