Chris Haynes labeled Atlanta Hawks as favorites to land Anthony Davis via trade, potential package wouldn't include Trae Young.
Anthony Davis could very well be traded for the second consecutive season.
After starting last year with the Los Angeles Lakers, Davis was traded in the infamous trade to the Dallas Mavericks.
It looks like Davis could be on the move again, and for the first time in his career, he could land in the Eastern Conference.
As Chris Haynes revealed on SiriusXM, Atlanta Hawks are labeled as favorites to land Davis in this race.
Hawks are believed to possess the easiest trade package that would satisfy the Mavericks, along with a right level of desperation to offer a close-to-value trade package for Davis before extending him in the summer.
Haynes also noted that Trae Young wouldn't be a part of the trade that would send Davis to Georgia from Texas.
Along with the Hawks, Toronto Raptors are believed to be a team that asked about Davis' availability multiple times up to date, just like Detroit Pistons and Golden State Warriors.
This year, Davis played 16 games for the Dallas Mavericks, averaging 20.5 points and 10.9 rebounds in 30 minutes per match.
