It feels like the Hornets play the Bucks every other game at this point. This will be the fourth and final meeting between the two teams though, finally. All of the games have been entertaining at least. The Hornets won the first showdown before narrowly losing the last two. They’ll look to even the season series in Kon Knueppel’s second game back in his old stomping grounds. No word yet on whether or not the team will have dinner at his parents’ house again.

The Bucks are trying to get up off the mat after a massively disappointing first couple months of the season. They had won three of their last four games before their New Year’s Eve was spoiled by a last second home loss to CJ McCollum and the Wizards.

There are really two keys to beating the Bucks since they aren’t very multiple in their strengths. The first is limiting Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Hornets have generally done a pretty good job of that under Charles Lee. He’ll get some decent numbers, but he’s not been able to completely dominate games against Charlotte. The second point of emphasis is going to be finding a way to bother the 3-point shooting of the Bucks’ other players. The entire team is basically built around the idea of Giannis drawing defensive attention and surrounding him with outside shooting. The Hornets got burned by Bobby Portis and Myles Turner last time out. They’ll need to be better with their defensive rotations and contests and just hope for some poorer shooting this time around.
