Player‘most likely’ to join Manchester City or Arsenal–Real Madrid man on the move

Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool are all in the mix to sign Real Madrid’s Rodrygo, according to Friday’s edition of Sport.

Xabi Alonso has utilised the forward as a substitute, starting him in only seven matches this season.

Sport state the 24-year-old wants to leave Real Madrid. Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool are his suitors. In the summer, the Brazil international was approached by a few Premier League sides but decided against leaving Real Madrid.

Rodrygo and his father have ‘learnt from their mistakes’, and he now wants to leave Real Madrid. There’s ‘no going back’ and he’s already started working to change clubs.

The first step is to appoint a top agent. Sport state he’s in advanced negotiations with two possibilities. The Real Madrid player will make the final decision in the coming weeks.

When discussing interested parties, Manchester City and Arsenal are mentioned.

Pep Guardiola’s side and the Gunners are the ‘most likely destinations’ for Rodrygo. A move to Liverpool can’t be ruled out as they are also monitoring him.

Rodrygo is unhappy at Real Madrid and determined to leave. It remains to be seen where he’ll end up, in the event Los Blancos agree to sanction his sale.

Last September, AS reported Arsenal had made informal contact over a move for Rodrygo.
