Chelsea are without a manager ahead of their game against Manchester City on Sunday, following the departure of Enzo Maresca on Thursday.
The Italian departed Stamford Bridge just six months after guiding his side to the FIFA Club World Cup in the United States, having previously also lifted the Europa Conference League.
Those in charge of the club are now working to identify Maresca’s successor, with current Strasbourg boss Liam Rosenior touted as a possible contender.
In the meantime, however, it has emerged that the West London outfit are chasing two Premier League attackers.
According to CaughtOffside, Chelsea are interested in both Arsenal star Ethan Nwaneri, and Aston Villa midfielder Morgan Rogers.
The report claims that the west London outfit have been admirers of Villa’s Rogers for some time now, with their interest in the Englishman not dwindling.

Rogers, 23, has been in fine form for the Villans over the past 18 months, and has provided a combined 46 goals and assists in 95 games for the club across all competitions.
It is claimed that the England international is ‘high up’ on Chelsea’s list of transfer targets, and the report also suggests that Aston Villa could be pressured into selling the player due to their financial position.
Nwaneri, meanwhile, graduated from Arsenal’s academy and made his senior debut for the north London side at the age of 15, making him the youngest player in the competition’s history.
Last season he enjoyed a superb breakthrough campaign, making 37 appearances across all competitions.
This season has been quite different, though, with the 18-year-old having made just 11 appearances so far and not yet started a single Premier League match.
Despite this, it is claimed that Arsenal are adamant that the teenager will not be sold, regardless of Chelsea’s interest.
