Jesus, Lewis-Skelly To Start; Trossard Benched: Arsenal Predicted Lineup vs Bournemouth

Arsenal are preparing for a trip to the South Coast to play against Bournemouth on Saturday night.

The Gunners are in a great position after they beat Aston Villa last time out, and saw rivals Man City drop points against Sunderland in midweek. It leaves Arsenal with a five point lead at the top of the table, and they could extend it to eight points if they beat Bournemouth.

Andoni Iraola’s side are in a poor spell of form at the moment, as they have won just one of their last 12 matches in the Premier League, and are on a 10-game winless run. It seems the perfect opportunity for Arsenal to go and get three points yet again this weekend.

Here is how we expect Arsenal to line up against Bournemouth on Saturday night at 5.30 pm at the Vitality Stadium.

Lewis-Skelly replaces the injured Calafiori

GK – David Raya – Raya starts again this weekend, hoping to keep the likes of Antoine Semenyo and Justin Kluivert quiet.

LB – Myles Lewis-Skelly –Calafiori is set to miss the game against Bournemouth as he is injured, so Lewis-Skelly will likely come in for the Italian.

CB – Gabriel – Gabriel is fully fit again, and he showed it against Aston Villa, as he managed to score and earn the player of the match award.

CB – William Saliba – Saliba starts alongside Gabriel at the centre-back position, hopeful to continue his impressive form.

RB – Jurrien Timber – The Dutch international is fully fit too, and is ready to go for the game against Bournemouth.

Mikel Merino starts in place of Declan Rice

CM – Martin Zubimendi – Zubimendi keeps his place after scoring against Aston Villa last time out.

CM – Mikel Merino – With Declan Rice an injury doubt, Merino starts in place of the England international in Arteta’s midfield.

CAM – Martin Odegaard – Odegaard’s recent impressive performances have meant he has beaten out Eberechi Eze at the attacking midfield spot.

Gabriel Jesus preferred as the Arsenal striker

LW – Eberechi Eze –Eze comes in for Trossard, as he hasn’t had a great amount of minutes in the wide areas yet this season.

RW – Bukayo Saka – Saka is on fire at the moment, despite the fact his goal scoring numbers aren’t as high as last season.

ST – Gabriel Jesus – Jesus scored against Villa, and is preferred to out of sorts Viktor Gyokeres in the striker spot.
