Stephen Curry is listed as questionable with a left ankle sprain on theofficial injury report. He had 26 points, two rebounds and four assists on 56.3% shooting from the field and 50% shooting from beyond the arc in a 132-125 win over theCharlotte Hornetson Wednesday, December 31.
Curry, 37, is having another solid season, averaging a team high 28.7 points per game. He is also averaging four rebounds and 4.3 assists while shooting 46.8% from the field and 39.4% from three.

Curry has missed time this season with aright ankle injury, but his current designation is related to his left ankle, an injury he appears to have picked up on Wednesday. The Warriors are going to need most of their key players to compete with theOklahoma City Thunder on Friday, but with the game being the first of a back-to-back for Golden State, the team may opt to give its superstar some rest.
Golden State won’t take any chances with Curry if he is not feeling 100%. The Warriors will likely evaluate him in the hours before tonight’s game before making a final decision on his status. If Curry is out today,Pat Spencer andWill Richard will be in line for more minutes.

The team has won five out of its last six games and is now three games behind theMinnesota Timberwolves for sixth in the Western Conference standings.
The Warriors have been rumored to be wanting toadd players at the NBA trade deadline through a deal of forwardJonathan Kuminga. Golden State needs another big man and a wing scorer, withDaniel Gafford,Robert Williams,Michael Porter Jr. andKlay Thompson all possible fits for a playoff push.
The Warriors should be able to pick up another win on Saturday, January 3 at home against theUtah Jazz, but they will travel to play the surgingLos Angeles Clippers andMilwaukee Bucks at the beginning of next week.
