Arteta confirms striker to be a Gunner–Arsenal offered midfield chance–Arteta confirms Attacker to be a Gooner this January

Here is a roundup of the top Arsenal news, gossip and transfer latest from icfootballnews featuring the likes of Leandro Trossard, Ruben Neves and Mikel Arteta that we think you guys could have missed today…

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta says Leandro Trossard is a “very important” part of his squad when asked about whether the attacker is available fora move away from the Emirates during this January transfer window.

Arteta was asked about Leandro Trossard’s future, with the in-form Belgian into the last 18 months of his Arsenal contract.

Trossard signed a new contract earlier this summer – but only received a pay rise to reflect his importance to the team, rather than an extension on his deal which expires in the summer of 2027.

“We are very happy with him,” said Arteta about Trossard. “He knows we have talked about it many times, he’s happy here.

“I think he’s gone up every season at another level. He’s such an intelligent level. He’s finding his role and maturity here. His confidence level is higher, a player who can create magic moments.”

There will always be alot of speculation about players that are not playing every week, Trossard is a brilliant member to have in the squad and a player that Arteta really likes, so he will surely not leave this January window.

Maybe in the summer, Arteta will look to freshen up the side and maybe Trossard will be allowed to depart ARSENAL, but it would not make much sense to allow him to leave the club right now would it?

RUBEN NEVES COULD BE GREAT SIGNING?

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta says Leandro Trossard is a “very important” part of his squad when asked about whether the attacker is available fora move away from the Emirates during this January transfer window.

*ARSENAL*have been buying some quality players over the past couple of transfer windows, and all their hard work in the market has paid paid, as the Gunners are favourites for that Premier League title this season.

But there are a few players in the side that are probably no longer needed by Mikel Arteta, and there has been alot of speculation and rumours in the media about stars that could be let go at some point this January transfer window.

MIKEL ARTETA MAKES NWANERI STATEMENT

*ARSENAL*manager Mikel Arteta says Ethan Nwaneri is a “very important” part of his squad when asked about whether the teenager is available for loan this month.

Arsenal have been buying some quality players over the past couple of transfer windows, and all their hard work in the market has paid paid, as the Gunners are favourites for that Premier League title this season.

But there are a few players in the side that are probably no longer needed by Mikel Arteta, and there has been alot of speculation and rumours in the media about stars that could be let go at some point this January transfer window.

Nwaneri has not featured for Arsenal since the Champions League win over Club Brugge on December 10 – and was left out of the matchday squad for the midweek win over Aston Villa

The 19-year-old has found it challenging for minutes this season, raising speculation about whether he should find a temporary home elsewhere for regular football.

What has Arteta said on Nwaneri.

Asked about Nwaneri’s future, Arteta said: “Every player is very important and has a role. That role can change throughout the season for different reasons. Everybody has to be ready for play, that’s it.”

Look, *ARSENAL*have one of the best squad in the Premier League, there is no doubt about that right? But they do have players that are not getting the game time that they require and maybe it is time for Nwaneri to leave the club?

It does not need to be on a permanent basis, just until the end of the season as he needs to play in order to develop like many hope he will. Sitting on the bench is not helping him that mush is it guys?
