Just like that, we have entered a new year once again which means it’s time to aim to be the best version of ourselves for the upcoming 12 months by coming up with some New Year’s resolutions.
NBA players aren’t that much different from the rest of us as it looks like that is exactly what they’re doing over at the Los Angeles Clippers.

And luckily for Clippers guard James Harden, his teammate and two-time NBA champion Kawhi Leonard already has a New Year’s resolution in mind for “The Beard” for the year 2026.
“I want to see if [Harden] can eat food without getting it in his beard all year,” Leonard said in a video the Clippers showed on their video board, as per For the Win.

Clippers end 2025 on a strong note
Regardless of how much of a food and beard problem Harden may or may not actually have, it seems that LA’s early season problems on the court are starting to get solved in the past few games.
Los Angeles’ New Year’s Day triumph over the Utah Jazz was their sixth consecutive victory and the team’s stars showed out in that game too, with Leonard dropping 45 points while Harden also contributed by scoring 20, as per NBA.com.

The win now puts the Clippers’ record at 12-21 and if they can keep their form going, then Leonard and Harden could give themselves a real shot of leading their side into the playoffs after a poor start to the season, which also saw the departure of franchise legend Chris Paul from the team earlier in the campaign.
