**Pep Guardiola**gave his thoughts on the fallout of the Enzo Maresca dismissal at Chelsea.
Rumours have stated that the former **Man City**Elite Development Squad coach had his eyes on a move back to the Etihad Stadium. Now, BlueCo have parted ways with the Italian in explosive fashion, and all eyes will be on his next career choice after the impression he left in West London.
However, Guardiola is comfortable in his role, only focusing on the clash with the Blues on Sunday.
“I can only say that Chelsea I think from my point of view lost an incredible manager and incredible person. But this decision is from the hierarchy of Chelsea so nothing more to say.
"We won't talk much if we don't know which manager will be there and I don't know what's going to happen. Chelsea have always been dangerous, and the Premier League is dangerous every game.
“I have contract. I'm happy. I want to fight with my team. The higher will respect me. That proved last season what happened in this club that we didn't win one game in two, three months. They support me. So, what can I do? I want to try and do it. But maybe one day, I don't know.
*“We see how the people recovering now. We had in this period to have you know two games away is so demanding in the Christmas times, tough two games in Nottingham Forest and Sunderland.*
*“We have to see, not much time, but we will see what happens. **Rodri*and Jeremy Doku came back from long injuries, so we have to be careful, talk with the doctors and the physicians. We will see.
*"Without Nico Gonzalez it would not have been possible because Mateo Kovacic is not there anymore and Nico has been outstanding, but Rodri is Rodri. Everybody knows it. We are better and people feel better, but we have to be careful.”*
