Arsenal’s new home shirt for the 2026/27 season already appears to have been leaked online.

The design for next season’s Arsenal home kit appears to have surfaced online months ahead of its official launch, following a massive leak of Adidas’ shirt designs for elite clubs for the 2026/27 season.

According to Footy Headlines, Arsenal are on of four Premier League clubs whose kits have been unveiled ahead of schedule in the leak, with renders of forthcoming Manchester United, Aston Villa and Newcastle jerseys also available. So what does Arsenal’s next home shirt look like?

Arsenal’s 2026/27 home kit leaked online ahead of release

While the leak has not yet been confirmed as accurate, multiple sources claim it to be genuine with the renders released on the internet showing the design template to be used for each of Arsenal’s shirts next season – and if the leak is proven to be correct, then the Gunners’ kit will have a brand new design element.

While the new kit, pictured above, sticks closely to the traditional red and white kit design – overlaid on to Adidas’ 2026 template already seen on some of the shirts for the forthcoming World Cup – the circular collar will feature a darker crimson tone instead of the classic Arsenal red which still dominates the chest and shirt and sleeve trim.

The render, which Footy Headlines estimate to be 80% accurate to the final design, suggests that the modern Adidas logo, full club crest and shirt sponsor will again be picked out in plain white on the front of the shirt, with the usual Adidas triple stripe design running across the top of the shoulders.

No details of the shorts and socks are yet available, although based on the simple and classical design of the shirt they are likely to follow tradition rather than departing towards new territory.

Classical design fails to get Gunners fans’ juices flowing

The leak of the renders has been met with relatively limited enthusiasm from Arsenal supporters on social media – although there hasn’t been much direct criticism, one commenter on Twitter seems to have caught the general mood when suggesting that Adidas “should be more creative.”

The new home shirt certainly doesn’t drift far from the established template for Arsenal shirts, and aside from the second tone of red on the collar there are very few changes between this year’s kit and next season’s - perhaps unsurprising given that the 2025/26 jerseys largely met with praise and appreciation from fans.

The release date for the new jerseys remains unknown and it isn’t clear whether Arsenal will debut their new shirts prior to the end of the current Premier League season or wait until the summer to launch them officially. The same is true for the away and third kits, alleged details of which have also emerged.

Whether the leaks prove to be accurate or not remains to be seen, but most Arsenal fans will be more immediately concerned by whether or not they wear their new shirts as champions of England – or as victims of another near miss in a tense title race.
