In her update during the Nuggets' nationally televised road clash against the Cleveland Cavaliers, NBA on Prime's Cassidy Hubbarth offered huge injury news regarding Jokic, Aaron Gordon and Christian Braun.
According to Hubbarth (h/t Mile High Sports' Ryan Blackburn), both Gordon (hamstring) and Braun (ankle) are trending towards making their return to the Nuggets lineup at some point on the team's ongoing road trip.
Meanwhile, Denver has been "pleasantly surprised" about the progress of Nikola Jokic (knee), who is in good spirits and continuing his rehabilitation through bike work and using stairs.
Beyond Jokic, Gordon and Braun, both Jonas Valanciunas (calf) and Cam Johnson (knee) are also on the team's recovery list, making the Nuggets extremely handicapped.
The Nuggets can only hope that these five will take their time and heal accordingly, as Denver continues to lean on the leadership of Jamal Murray.
In a valiant effort, the Nuggets (23-11) recently came up short on Friday against the Cleveland Cavaliers, 113-108.
